Birch Tree Art Idea

Here is a simple art idea for you to try out!

Supplies: paper, masking tape, watercolour or watered-down acrylic paint (in blue, purple, red, light blue, black, and yellow), large and small paintbrush, and a black oil pastel.

Start by taping 3-5 lines from top to bottom on the paper with masking tape.

Add some branches with small pieces of tape.

Paint blue streaks horizontally across the page.

Add purple streaks.

Add red streaks.

Add a few light blue streaks.

And finally some black. Let the paint dry.

Carefully peel off the masking tape to reveal "birch trees", and then paint little yellow dots to be the fireflies or stars.

Outline the trees with the black oil pastel, and add some lines along the edges.

And you're done!
